COOKIE POLICY

This cookie policy refers to the website www.umana-analytics.com.

As you browse www.umana-analytics.com, we store cookies on the terminal (computer, cell phone, tablet) you are browsing with. We use these cookies mainly to gather statistics and audience metrics. The site uses third-party cookies in order to create an interaction with multimedia technologies offered on the web by other companies, such as: Google, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file thanks to which brief information about a user's activity on a website is collected and stored on the device that accessed the site. Cookies do not harm your device and allow us to provide you with better and faster navigation on our site. Any additional information, such as information that allows us to send you advertising messages, is stored only after your expressed consent. Please read the information below to better understand what cookies we use and how you can manage your preferences regarding their use.

Our site uses both cookies that do not require your consent for their installation (technical cookies), and cookies that we can only install with your prior consent (profiling cookies).
For more information on what cookies are and how they are used, please consult the website of the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (GPDP): https://www.garanteprivacy.it/faq/cookie

Types of cookies used

A. Technical Cookies (that do NOT require your consent): these are necessary for the operation of the site and allow you to access its functions (so-called navigation cookies) and are mostly session cookies. We may also use functional cookies that allow us to save your preferences and settings, improving your browsing experience on our site (e.g., remembering you as a registered user of the site when you select the "Remember Me" function; linking you to the section of the site in the language you may have chosen or according to the country from which you are accessing; remembering your preferences in terms of accepting or not accepting profiling cookies). In order to ensure their functionality and to be able to remember your preferences these cookies are not deleted when you close your browser; however, they have a default maximum duration (up to a maximum of x days) and after the default time period has elapsed they are automatically deactivated. These cookies and the data they collect are not used for any further purposes. We do not need your consent to install technical cookies; we install them automatically following your access to the site or your request for certain features (e.g., by selecting "remember me"). You can always decide to disable them at any time by changing your browser settings. However, if you do, you may not be able to view our site properly.

B. Profiling Cookies: our website also uses the so-called profiling cookies, which we can only install with your prior consent. Third-party cookies may also be installed through the site, again if you expressly consent to their installation.
Cookies defined as profiling cookies by the Data Protection Authority may include several categories of cookies, including advertising profiling cookies, retargeting cookies, social cookies, and analytical cookies that are not limited to aggregate statistical analysis.

• Advertising profiling cookies: they create profiles related to the user to display advertisements in line with the preferences you expressed while browsing the Internet;

• Retargeting cookies: they send you advertisements to offer you products similar to those in which you have expressed interest (for example, by showing you products you have viewed on our site when you browse affiliate sites), or they allow us to measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign;

• Analytics cookies: these track your choices on the site and your browsing for statistical analysis by us and third parties, keeping track of your online preferences and behaviour and to provide you with personalised messages. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on our site. All third-party analytical cookies are collected anonymously and in such a way that the information collected about users cannot be cross-referenced with other data, and thus use the data collected only for aggregated statistics and metrics.

• Social cookies: the website also allows some social networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook) to install their own cookies using their plug-ins. These cookies are managed directly by these third parties and may also be used for the purpose of showing you advertisements on other sites in line with your preferences.

These cookies will only be installed with your consent. For this reason, when you access the site, you will see a banner informing you that (i) analytical, profiling and retargeting cookies, including third-party cookies, are used on the site and that (ii) by closing the banner or continuing navigation by selecting an element of the site outside the banner or accessing another area of the site, you tacitly deny your consent to the use of cookies. We will keep track of your consent/refusal through a special technical cookie. In this way, we will avoid showing you the cookie banner during your next visits to the site; should you decide to delete the technical cookies remember that we will also lose track of your consent and, therefore, during your next visit you will see the cookie banner again. You are of course free to block the installation of profiling cookies (whether third-party analytical, social, retargeting, or profiling cookies), or to revoke the consent you initially gave, at any time and without affecting your ability to visit the website and enjoy its content.
